Forget the brokered convention: A cabal of establishment Republicans is working on the ultimate firewall that could keep Trump from the White House.

(snip snip cut cut)

a group of Republicans are readying a nuclear option: running a third-party alternative in just a handful of critical swing states in order to block both Trump and likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton from gaining the necessary 270 electoral votes required to claim the White House.

In such instances, according to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution, the choosing of the next president would then fall to the House of Representatives. In the House, each state casts one vote, and considering the current Republican majority in that chamber, would give the election to this newly created third-party ticket.

(And it goes on to read: )

Only once before in American history has the House of Representatives chosen the president. In 1824, despite winning the most electoral votes, Andrew Jackson failed to win a majority in a four-way race. Members of Congress selected John Quincy Adams instead, in what came to be known as “The Corrupt Bargain.”

Weeee... nuclear winter here we come!
Consider the civil unrest while a nation on suicide watch emerges.

I guess aligning with Cruz to make him their patsy to further help steal the nomination away from both Ted and Donald by a brokered convention just isn't foolproof enough, they be goin' to try to take them all out and dump in anyone they damn well please I suppose.

So they would want to be stripping away the independent votes, maybe either Sanders and/or Cruz disillusioned supporters (provided Donald and Hillary win the nominations outright). I wonder what sort of person this would be... someone with the greatest commonality between them I would guess, or at least politically on the surface a bit of an unkown possibly. Maybe even an actor or musician that says their platform is anti-everything and pro-nothing hah, yet bought and paid for by the koch brothers to do this thang.

Anyway, I was thinking like pee-wee Herman... no that's not it. Who could it be? .... maybe these cobal Reps will hit this thread and it'll help em out deciding who it should be and what his message might sound like [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
