It's maybe because you don't follow how to correctly. I did it twice so far , last year and this year and it took 48-72h max. Which is pretty reasonable for a free service.

I've had them be quick & slow about it. Point is, if you're at a friends house trying to show someone the game, it's not like you can just log on and help them.
