I was unable to find anything via search, so apologies if it's out there already.

My cell phone is currently being replaced due to some unfortunate damage, I would like to link it to my account but as I cannot currently verify the number via SMS I may have a problem...

My very simple question is this, will I be able to add SMS recovery to my account after I register if I skip this step? If I can change it later that would be fine as well since I should be able to borrow another phone in the meantime.
