Wrong. Competition (was) very invigorating. Also, having played a wizard here since 2009. Loot wasn't a reason for me to raid... There was like 3 items for a wizard pre-VP and maybe 4 or so in VP. I went years without loot and my DKP can attest to that. I enjoyed initially the challenge of being the underdog and competing against, winning against, and then supplanting a initially stronger force. After I had other goals like helping friends etc. End the end I just like playing with pals and killing dragons. Loot didn't make EQ great... community did. |
But at first you joined for the loot didn't you?
