But I will say that there was a mandatory beta test this weekend and the spell file that was being used that day is the same spell file that is being used on the live server today. So I'm not sure why no bards said anything about these unplayable bugs Friday or Saturday.

It has been reported in the Kunark section of the forums. But I am sure, given enough time it will get fixed, although the impatience displayed by others might slow things down.
As for Clarity not displaying, if I recall correctly, it never did, at least not until POP or so. Have a look at this FoH rant:
