The non-classic solution that would fix everything: Give raid mobs 28 minute PH's and make them a camp like everything else in the game. If one guild wants to devote the lives of 100 people keeping 1 mob on 24 hour lockdown, so be it, at least they won't be shitting on the rest of the raid scene in the process.
