First of all, I just want to say I don't believe you. At least, we didn't get the full story on "making 200k" (getting upticks on millions worth stock options isn't "making 200k" in the since most people understand that phrase)
Second, the 1% will always be 1% of the population. The top 20%, will always only be 20% of the population. All these arguments that everyone should do like them are bullshit excuses for a rigged economy that increasingly rewards inherited wealth over anything else. It's getting worse, not better.
And no, not everyone wants to live in America. Only people in shit hole countries immigrate here*, and its because our immigration policies are more lax. You sound like your living in the 80s back when people actually believed this crap...then they saw the impact on the policies neoliberals hawked.
