velks is pretty easy to get around in, you can get to 60 on spiders behind the kolbolds so, whatever the ent mobs con well at, like 45+ and just go deeper in as you progress. by 54 you should be camped at the back of kolbolds and gearing up to start pulling spiders, Id wager.
