Necro is also a good choice, very versatile class. As an iksar necro you should just be aware that almost every non iksar NPC will hate you. Almost... it's a quest on its own to find the exceptions.
One word of caution: if you want to function in a group, be aware that you should use totally different tactics in such a setting. DoTting is usually not the way to go when mobs die pretty fast, your dots will be wasted. But necros can be pretty nice healers if they dedicate themselves to it.
