I've never even seen someone named Naez in game before. Anyway, that was frytard spamming that in ooc to make heresys mad after I had already quit playing. PvP wasn't fun anymore so there was no point in playing.
Reasons why TZVZ PvP sucked and wasn't like normal EQ:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Root landed on people with a million magic resist which removes all skill from PvP. 30 people get in vent and say "everyone cast root on target X, ok, now everyone melee target X to death as they stand there immobile". I'm sure Rexx thinks that's called "teamwork" but for anyone that actually played EQ live PvP servers, it feels like down syndrome, no skill PvP.
- naked casters tanked as good as warriors.
- I channeled gate on my naked shaman mule with heresy's entire guild meleeing me at least 4 times so any caster that wasn't a retard was virtually immune to dying while all melees were doomed.
- Melee damage nerfed and casters given ability to cast without line of sight
- I won't list mage pets because I think that was eventually fixed after the entire server was composed of mages.
- 2 IP's were allowed so everyone you fought was either dragging a macroquest healer bot behind them or was fully buffed, forcing everyone else to also box a buffbot.
Tons of people would post how these issue made the server suck. Each post was bombed with Heresy responses from people like Lasher saying "no, u r gay, it's much better if all caster spells are usable in pvp".
Occasionally Rexx would side with the anti-down syndrome people on the issue being a heavily biased Ogre warrior but nothing was ever done. Seeing as how they all used macroquest healer bots for PvE and PvP, they didn't want to lose those either.
Basically everything that made that server suck revolved around Heresy somehow.
