well, gear is gear and it's as legit for bards as well as anybody. But 'can' tank is different than 'tanks well'. I can tank on my enchanter if I gear for it.

Bards can "tank well" already.
-Bard aggro is second to none.
-They wear plate - which helps.
-mobs hit camp pre-slowed 35%
-they can do this job while giving the whole group 35-45hp and 12 mana a tick regen
What more could you want?
