Been reading some theories about Bran being the Night King. Seems like some pretty compelling stuff, anyone care to comment?

Did anyone else see the video of the theory behind the night king's identy? I think they figured it out, makes perfect sense. If this guy is right it is a complete spoiler. I apologize if this topic was posted before , too many comments to review everything

Dumb. If Bran was the Night King, and the Three Eyed Raven had been watching them their entire lives, and could foresee all the things that needed to happen, then he would have just killed Bran before ever teaching him how to use his powers and ended the Night King before it began. Also, if you read any of GRRM's other books, you'll see more than one of them deal with time travel. The way GRRM gets around time paradoxes like this one are to not allow the physical person to time travel, but to instead have the person project their consciousness back through time. At best, I think that is what Bran is doing and is capable of.

So you think that was Nymeria? I like the idea that she internalized the Hound and it's sort of re-emerged as she came back to Westeros. It also feels more cohesive if I think about it in terms of Arya/Hound theme, where she exhibits hound-behavior socially, grabbing food and being curt, then she goes and has a meeting with her old Wolf(hound) good point big dog rog!

it was 100% Nymeria, the show-runners confirmed it after the episode. We also know from the books that Nymeria has a super pack of wolves and that together they have been terrorizing the riverlands, which is where Arya is when she bumps into the Direwolf (Nymeria)

Jon is an idiot

Jon vs Mance = Jon is saved by Stannis
Jon vs Ramsay = Jon is saved by Baelish
Jon vs Nights King = Jon is Saved by Dany
Cersei will agree if Jon says the right thing = Jon says wrong thing
Literally every idea Jon has had has resulted in someone saving his skin, or making a situation harder than it needs to be. As a wise woman once said; you know nothing Jon Snow.

I love how Danny's plan is so retarded that Preston and Carmine, two huge nerds, can't make heads or tails of it.

GoT went Hollywood.

its quickly just turning into lord of the rings. pretty good guys, ugly bad guys, good guys win with minor nerds killed off, and the world is safe. I understand that they no longer have book material to go off of, but i mean fuck. if they understood the books at all, they'd understand that one of the greatest things about GoT was it smashing all the genre's tropes, and now the show-runners are just following RandomHollywoodScript_01
