just want to say i am a big fan of r/K selection theory because it validates a segment of original melonthought, but adds a bit of hope to some otherwise disappointing conclusions.

while molyneaux is a smart guy I'm not sure I agree with the presuppositions he relies upon to arrive at his conclusions. his logic is infallible, but I'm not sold on universally preferable behavior as the ideal moral system. it works if we want to insulate ourselves from difficult decisions and hermit as individuals with no regard for humanity as a whole though. /digression

i don't understand why the idea that behavior is influenced by gene expression (which is influenced by environment) would be controversial.
