Can't buy a case fan for a notebook but he can purchase a cooling pad if he is concerned with heat.

As someone else already mentioned your computer shouldn't even be functioning at those temperatures. I am willing to bet those temps are off. Try different diagnostic software.

The bottom of a notebook can get pretty warm. AC Adapters can also get very warm. Make sure you have your notebook on a flat surface, ie: not on a bed or pillow or anything. You do not want to block any vents on the bottom or sides of the notebook.
