Addition: Upon further exp'ing in that spot (killing those guards), I dealt with the guards walking off the edge of the bridge over the water in different spots a couple times other than what I previously mentioned. I wouldn't be able to pin point the spots. Just seems like there are a couple holes in the bridge pathing boundaries.
