I eventually made it to amiable with crusaders a couple days ago, and when I did, out of curiosity, I conned the bankers and they were glare threateningly. So I spent a few more hundred plat on the youth of cabilis and got to dubious with the bankers.
I'm now warmly with troopers and shaman, kindly with monks and I think warriors, amiable with crusaders, dubious with the bankers and the npcs sitting around outside the bank near the kloks.
The merchants however are all dubious, so I'm not really sure what faction they are on. I'm still scowling to brood of kotiz (necromancers) so maybe a mix of whatever the bankers are and brood? I dunno.
My faction isn't capped yet, so if I get extra bones I'll keep handing them in, as well as working on brood of kotiz.
BTW I really thought my faction was stuck / broken. The existing charts out there that were made back when people could see the numbers don't seem to apply. I did the math based on one of those old charts for the apprehensive range and I'm thinking I had to do 3x what my guesstimate told me.
Luckily I petitioned about it (though I feel silly for bothering the staff now). But the answer basically said there are no bugs, everything is working, and it made me keep going. (Thanks!)
