There is a thing that is known as the 'it' factor in entertainment. Its that unquantafiable presence someone has that makes them glow in a room full of normals.

The it factor is what casting directors look for when they meet future stars. Time and time again, when someone has the it factor, they excel.

Knowing how to tell if someone has the it factor, is as much of an 'it' factor in itself. Though it is less well known.

there is an episode of Man Seeking Woman where the step dad meets the older sister of the main character (if you don't get this reference its in season 3 and its a great show so get w/ it)

anywho, he says "you have the ability to tell what 'sucks'.."

that ability is as rare and as much of an important factor as the 'it' factor.

people like elon musk, or warren buffet have the 'suck' factor. They can tell when something sucks.

You look at something and it looks normal, or it looks good, or it looks bad... but deep down, you dont really know, you might not like it, but that doesnt mean it sucks, or its wrong. Only someone wit the suck factor, knows if it actually is lame, or is bullshit, or is fake or is stupid or it sucks.

Steve Jobs had it, that's why apple is such a success when he is at the helm (im not saying that apple products arnt shit, but you cant argue they arnt successful.

Anywho, society doesnt really recognize it, but the "ability to tell what sucks" is as much of a random factor as the "it" factor that should define if you are in a position of power at any company, or if you will be a successful investor.

If you're an investor that is successsful, and you dont have the factor, its just luck.

but if you're an investor with the factor? youll be like bezos, musk, jobs, buffet, or any of the other billionares that are out there.
