Franchises were around long before McDonalds -- it's not like he invented the idea of Franchising....What he did was take a popular fast food place, convince them to franchise, and promising them that quality would not take a hit. There big reservation is they tried franchising and they didn't like that quality would take a hit.
Instead, he clearly had no intention of keeping the quality after the first few restaurants. He hires some finance dude who comes up with the idea on how to turn McDonalds into a successful corporation, and also cut the two other guys out in one swoop.
So took two people's ideas and became "the founder"
And that's America...victory always goes to the scumbag liar at the top.
