I've been xp'ing solo in LOIO on my necro and it seems like finding a group there 20+ will be a lot easier than uguk right now. I see lots of OOCs and have quite a few guildies that are that level hanging around.
Nowadays the old world is largely populated with people farming, if you plan on xp'ing in dungeons other than kunark, it's best to roll your own party and head there specifically. Rather than travelling there and hoping to find one on your own.
As for DPS, monks have always been really high on the DPS range. It's more noticable at low levels because there is an abundance of affordable items that will do ridiculous damage in the 10-40 range for monks, while piercing weapons are much more rare/expensive. Once you get to the higher levels where you're able to use equipment that is on the same level as the equipment the competing monks are using, you'll see yourself pull ahead in DPS numbers.
