'Ello.

I am a soon to be returning EQ player from '99. I had discovered Everquest back when I was a teenager watching my older cousin play. I was originally on the Mith marr server and played an Erudite necro named Irrzen. The last expansion i recall playing in was Dragons of Norrath.

I had then switched to World of Warcraft. Over the years I would switch back to EQ in various forms being the FV server, another emulator, and then to the progression servers. Initially it was nostalgic and riveting with memories. Alas, something was amiss. The rawness that was original EQ. A real struggle. True consequences. Palmy hands from side strafing to zone line to escape death or a nervous chill hoping that feign death worked.

These are the feelings that I crave.

And it begins with figuring out how to load project '99 to my pc. I jest it should be simple enough with the guides on the forum.
