So Starbucks is my favorite corporation now. Their employee healthcare is covering "cosmetic" procedures for trans people. Working as a barista would save me about $40,000 on FFS, electrolysis, and voice therapy. Those are optional (required) procedures to have a reasonable expectation of passing and living a semi-normal life. None of which I can afford, possibly ever, and the thought of which has on more than one occasion put me into crippling depressions for months at a time. I honestly might be too mentally scarred at this point to benefit. Whatever. This will save people's lives and that makes me incredibly happy.
