Race?
Depending on gear, you might find it more beneficial to camp single-spawn 6-min respawn NPC's, i.e. Saben Tucross in Lfay, Bards in Feerrott/Innothule/Nektulos/etc...Consistency is the name of the game in EQ grinding.
