Live had expansions coming out regularly, preventing traffic jams (to a certain extent).
P99 does not have traffic jams, it has a stop sign, and the lvl60s + lvl60 alts are piling up.
Raiding scene will not, and cannot, ever be like Live because this is a nostalgia box. For many this place is about getting that full set of BiS they never could on Live and/or gearing up alts. For others it is enough getting the odd awesome lit as f*** drop and causally raid and others prefer to play like ALS or whatnot. Find out which nostalgia plan is right for you!
Nostalgia is a deceptive little bastard and the time to experience EQ1 "like it was during classic" is gone, forever. Give up on it and enjoy the result of the effort put forth by those who made and continue to maintain P99.
