Druid epic may do more total, but shaman epic does it in half the time. In the time it takes druid epic to tick through all its damage the shaman epic can do its damage twice over.
Druid epic 1650 damage over 3 minutes
Shaman epic 1425 damage over 1.5 minutes -- 2850 over 3 minutes
