GMs are volunteering their time working for the creation of this free server for others, so it’s understandable that they view each account/player as being about as privileged as they can get. That being said they ban accounts sometimes blatantly for the greater good of their servers, justified or not, from training or killstealing disputes to aggressive economy changing farming. If you get an IP exemption with hopes of getting your Gf or anyone else into the game then you’ll be assumed as two boxing, and trying to get unbanned will be a time extensive process where you will likely just get mocked. Sometimes you just get unbanned by someone else without warning later on. I ended up getting a perma banned in the end for rmt, which braknar investigated for me twice, and said it was a sure thing (I was on break at the time). There is (or was) little to do about account security at the time since hackers roll over everything in any free service, and us privileged people wont get service like you would from a paid company. Point is don’t get an ip exemption, and don’t become too attached. Your playing here for free doesn’t come with any gaurantees and if your account shows anything weird then you’re just a burden at that point.
