Noticing some merchant messages are off on P99 vs. Classic, thank you ghetto parser!
From Qien Log in era:
Welcome to my shop message:
Quote:
[Sat Nov 10 23:18:26 2001] Merchant Ueaas says 'Welcome to my shop Gnubin, you would probably find a Small Cloth Wristband handy'
|
P99's same message:
Quote:
a brownie merchant says 'Welcome to my shop, Wedar. You would probably find a Belt Pouch handy.'
|
Note there should be no comma after shop, a comma should be after player name along with following letter lowercase, and no period at the end of the sentence.
Greetings message:
Quote:
[Sat Nov 10 23:13:10 2001] Merchant Kwein says 'Greetings Kaeian you look like you could use a Small Cloth Wristband'
|
P99's same message:
Quote:
a brownie merchant says 'Greetings, Wedar. You look like you could use a Pixie Wing.'
|
similar issue to welcome message, but no comma after player name
Hello there message:
Quote:
[Sun Nov 11 00:55:16 2001] Key Master says 'Hello there Leded, how about a nice Key of Swords?'
|
P99's same message:
Quote:
a brownie merchant says 'Hello there, Wedar. How about a nice Pixie Wing?'
|
The Hi there message is the only one that is correct:
Quote:
[Sun Nov 11 14:24:32 2001] Terblyn Zelbus says 'Hi there Qien, just browsing? Have you seen the Spell: Translocate: Great Divide I just got in?'
|
Quote:
a brownie merchant says 'Hi there Wedar, just browsing? Have you seen the Spell: Clarify Mana I just got in?'
