The funny part to me is that I've done websites: I know how little online advertisers pay
when you're hosting your own site, and this guy isn't even doing that: he's got a middle man. So for him to make even $10 off all this effort (and clearly rewriting all that wiki content must have taken him some time), I'd imagine it will take years.
And then you have to consider that most advertisers only pay you when you reach a certain minimum threshold, say $50, and taking that into account I rather doubt this guy will ever see a single check from this exercise.
But on the plus side, despite all the (very valid) criticism, I still think there's something to be said for new approaches to guides: it's just too bad this guy is all about the $$$ and not trying to help the community.
