Dunno, but I never used the method because it wasn't really efficient. It was only slightly better than sitting and burned a malachite each time.
For the record, it didn't seem to work with 49 fire pet but one of my guildmates said it was working for them with the earth pet. Because I never really used any pet but fire, I never bothered to test it out. Not a big loss either way. Pet canni only becomes useful and efficient after you get your epic and can summon a pet without using mana
