It's always been weird to me that Iksar have 5 less STR and STA than humans.

But can't wear large banded or any of the mails, and obviously can't wear plate, since they have their own, exclusive equivalent called Cabilis Scale
As I've said, Iksar have historically always been a MEDIUM race for gear.
