Oh that's actually pretty good!
But still a bit confusing since unlocks will be monthly. I really think we need monthly unlock labels of some kind.

Yes, unlocks will be monthly, but no that does not mean that we'll have tons of new items every month.
If you look at the patch notes page, or just at the items in the wiki, you'll notice a very clear pattern: when a new zone comes out, new NPCs, items, quests, spells, etc. all come out along with it. Yes
some few new items/NPCs
do come out in-between zone releases ... but most don't.
All of the "eras" are tied to zone releases, which means that most content will be accurately covered by sticking one of those templates on its wiki page. And for most content at least, we already know the era information, so we can use those tags today.
For now that's all that I personally plan to make.
Once Green has had a month or two of releases, and we actually see "patch #2" or "patch June 1999" or whatever come out with new content
then I think it will make sense to add a tag to the wiki for marking patch (ie. in-between era) content, because we'll have a much better idea of what everything looks like (eg. whether we want to number the patches, use P99 release dates, use classic release dates, etc.).
Also, there's no way to predict exactly what stuff Nilbog will add to patch #1, #2, etc. unless you're the most hardcore classic researcher in the world (more than Nilbog) ... but with all that said, I don't control the wiki, I'm just one motivated wiki editor. Anyone less patient is welcome to make such a template now, and then if it needs to change in the future we can change it. I personally would just rather wait and get it right.
