Maybe it's a generation thing, but I have trouble understanding about half the posts, typically as responses. If anyone recognizes my avatar, you know it's not because of a lack of intelligence.

What I really don't get are the semi-erratic, half-sentence, broken phrasiological posts that drop like bombs all over the boards. I don't expect a sesquipedalian feast here. And it's not a criticism at all, just an observation. It's me not understanding, I'm sure everyone else does or at least the ones around the same age. Sometimes I think I need to filter through babelfish, but I'm not sure what language I would select.

Are most of you in your 20's here?

[BTW, the first person that can identify exactly where my avatar comes from will get a small prize. I'm still a real lowbie, but I've found out that anything helps in this game.]
