The thing is, if you think a god created existence as an omnipotent being, then that means all parts of time were part of that creation, from 'beginning' to 'end'. As such time, and processes that are dependent on time (such as physics, chemistry, and even biology) are part of that creation too as these processes are what links each 'freeze frame' of creation.

Personally, I'd be much more impressed with a God that can create a universe so complex as to be in a constant state of change than one that merely creates a static, dead universe that does not progress in any meaningful way beyond it's initial state.
