There are red players who just played for fun.

I have one piece of planar on gustoo and he has been alive since server start. Wearing 100% all gear I found grinding. + some hp rings doy.

But yeah gear matters on red and it doesn't matter on blue. You can beat blue with zero gear on anyone in your group.
