There are numerous posts about this issue. I wish they would make a sticky or something. This gets brought up too often.

If you are getting an error about cannot find eqgame. Then you will need to make a shortcut to eqgame.exe (right click create shortcut) and add patchme to the end of the Target line of the shortcut's properties. So that it looks like something like this.
C:\your_everquest_directory_\eqgame.exe patchme

Don't forget to set the eqgame.exe compatibility to WinXP SP2 or SP3. I use SP3. |
