Your next should be a mid-range chest piece (Flowing Black Robe or Bloodstained Tunic) for some nutty volume of useful but easy consumables. Like 10-15 stacks of batwings or bone chips.

http://wiki.project1999.com/Robe_of_Enshroudment since the quest isn't in for the robe, but that could be a nice one for a necro since it drops off 40 necro mob.
Might do something more along the lines of what you recommend since it'll be open to more people.

It's gotta be fun, but TBH, there has to be some pain involved. It is an EPIC quest. Think of when you did your epic. Any annoying, rare or painful parts? Absolutely. That's what made it epic and where we get the word "passion" and "patience."
