the 3070 for $499 is better than the 2080 ti which will be 2 years old & was $1,200.
I play on 4k & get like 100 FPS in Warzone with ultra settings. I might upgrade when the new BF game comes out if I don't get at least 60 FPS.
The 3090 looks crazy.....
I can't find a 4k monitor that has higher than 60 hz refresh rate for gaming under $800 that's 27" or bigger. IDK why they are even talking about 8k gaming when 4k isn't close to be the standard with monitors yet.

Perhaps it is trying to use future proof compatibility as a selling point. Silly because as you point out: Moore’s law: in 2 years its replacement will be twice as good for half the cost: by the time that future TV rolls around there will be better cheaper options.
