HOWEVER, that does not change the fact that Kyle Rittenhouse, nor any other 17 year old, has any right to enforce the laws. More importantly, exactly none of us should be taking calculated risks to put either our lives or the lives of others into question. The answer to looting and rioting isn’t more chaos and violence. It’s to have a conversation with your kids about why this shit isn’t acceptable and about what type of emotional intelligence it will take for our collective society to stop acting, wirh such moral certainty, as tribes at war with one another.
