It's good to get to about 12, you can push to 16 if you really want it, then it becomes just too slow, probably a lot faster to just find any kind of group/partner or even solo for the classes that can.
Don't forget that the level of the pet is MAXIMUM 12 but can be as low as... 8 I think?

Tried group exp in kurns on a level 12 with a 13 and 15. We were killing pretty fast, but the group exp was slow. Doesn't even come close to fire pet.
Level range on pet is 10-13, so I got 2nd highest one. DS can go up to 15. DS for fire pets is level + 2.
I did levels 1-18 and I was able to solo level 17-18 mobs (lesser icebone, lesser charbone) starting at 5 once I got a better heal, so experience was awesome. Soloing level 17-18 mobs @ 5, just how Brad envisioned it.
I could dump thousands of plat for the easy levels to PL 1-18, or I could use one of these I have laying around and toss em a 150pp sword and do it on the cheap.
