[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Getting levels using quests is classic. Are you going to nitpick "classic" and "widespread classic usage." Binding at firepots is classic, but wasn't "widespread classic usage."
Also, your statement is wrong anyhow.
Classic had people selling powerlevels and so does P99. Should we ban the sale of powerleveling?
This line of thinking breaks into a much larger debate, which would be better organized in another thread.
This thread is about a bug. The experience given by scrolls has changed. Artelius and myself, and I imagine others, are curious as to the source of this change.
I'm sure the Devs have a source and so they made the change. It wouldn't make sense to change a longstanding precedent on a whim without a source showing the scroll exp was XYZ in classic.
