Your Shaman, in that group, is fully sufficient for that job against just about any content you're likely to encounter, especially if he equips his character with such a purpose in mind and keeps an eye on his health and armor ratings.

Our other drawback is gearing 3 priests (we had planned a wizard instead of the druid but no one wanted to play a wizard). Not a big deal though.
