Prime example of how the stock market doesn't actually reflect the company that stock is for. It's just a supply/demand market with made up numbers based on that company.
In this case, the supply is very low and the demand is becoming rapidly and rapidly higher. Once the hedge funds short position collapses the demand is going to skyrocket (because everyone is just holding and waiting for this to happen) and people can just set their price.
Very interested to see what happens this friday. It wouldn't surprise me if the value went up well over $1000.
