Patient education is drilled into us for our care plans (1 assessment, 3 fillers, 1 patient education intervention) and for medications (so with this one you really shouldn't drink alcohol).
Overall, education means stuff like deep breathing techniques and here's some exercises you can do in bed so you don't get a blood clot and stroke out on my shift. Or, sorry you have to use an electric razor while you're here on Heparin. I'm for it. Wanted to be a teacher at one point.
