Fear is normal from time to time. A phobia is a diagnosis of an abnormal irrational fear that doesn't go away.
Anxiety is also normal from time to time. An anxiety disorder is when that anxiety doesn't go away and gets worse and worse over time.
Grounding can help, exercises that help you reconnect to reality and can help your brain differentiate what is real and what is just in your head.
Take deep breaths. Touch objects around you. Describe the room around you to yourself. Listen to the sounds around you. Remind yourself out loud what you know to be real. Everything is 'ok'.
