Am I gonna get laughed at for saying Bard contributes far, far more for a group than just being a walking Claritybot?

Bards in groups are fantastic. Besides bringing the obvious haste, hp/mana regen and resist songs they can pull, mez, charm and slow…hell they can even tank a bit if they have to. In raids most bards without epic will be just playing mana song but epic bards will usually be in dps groups twisting resists, regen and haste/atk on top of epic procs.
