Open borders is the Dem strategy to ensure power for the rest of our civilization. Just keep a flood of illegals coming in. Either themselves or their children will become democrat voters. Accepting refugees(asylum seekers) is part of the agreement we all made(Western nations) after WW2 - it's legal immigration with a limit. You could definitely say asylum policy is (or was?) being abused, but building a wall fixes nothing and is a waste of time and resources(now and future).
Dunno if Mr Biden has undone Trump's changes to lawful entry under that status.
