And before anyone suggests that the way a healthy lifestyle hurts you vs covid is by lulling you into a false sense of security when it’s really getting the vaccine that would have saved you from the covid death you got…

My response would be that the sense of security is not false when your lifestyle choice pushes your chances of dying statistically drastically even lower

“If you had a bowl of skittles and 0.02% (healthy people who died to covid, a made up percent for the sake of argument) of them killed you, would you still eat them?”

This is a silly argument. No, I wouldn’t. I try to avoid candy sugar, and among candy I hate skittles. Now if the skittles represent responsible medical autonomy (I say responsible not “I want the right to get covid and then go to a concert! Freeeeedom!”), then fuck yeah I would eat the skittles. I would eat the entire bowl until I hit the one that killed me. And die satisfied
