First, we know that not all killing in wartime is a sin because there have been times when God Himself commanded battles to be fought. God told the ancient Israelites to possess the Promised Land; in fact, just before the conquest, the Lord appeared to Joshua as “commander of the army of the Lord”—a man of war (Joshua 5:14). God laid out the battle plans for the fight against Ai (Joshua 8:1–2). God told King Saul to “go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them” (1 Samuel 15:3). King David defeated the Philistines by following God’s strategy concerning the battle (2 Samuel 5:23–25). God never tells people to sin, so the Israelites who followed God’s commands to wage war were not sinning. Killing in war cannot be equated with murder.
Bolded because this is the traditional takeaway.

Notice that in all those scenarios, god appears and tells them to kill, So how about instead of war allowing for murder, how about god does 'when he tells someone to'?

A lot of folks out there think that there are excuses that someone has to kill, self defense or something.

The answer is actually, no.

You are to die rather than defend yourself.

If everyone did, then nobody would ever kill anyone!

However because there is sin, someone will always try to kill us. Right?

Well, god says, let them, and I will save you.

But you watch the guy next to you let them, and god does not save him.

So you ask god what's up and he says, a lot of you have to let them... then I'll believe you.

And... well so you and everyone has to keep dying. The holocausts. Everyone has to be like Daniel.

And one day.. after the LAST person is left to be burnt alive. Maybe then god will save them, we'll have to find out, so light him up.

(peace is finally brought to earth, the animals rejoice)

All thanks to a guy who burnt the world alive and a world who let him because they believed god told him to.

But really he was just a schitzo.
