Osteen isnt a prophet though, just a motivator who uses gods word and Jesus's teaching to help spread motivation and hope, and to also get himself into heaven probably, but also because he's probably a hopelessly romantic wishful thinker with a lot of energy and drive and also an appreciation for comfortable things I'm not that different. I mostly agree, and despite my problems with prosperity theology most of his actual sermons are fairly positive stuff, from what I've seen. I feel like if the money all stopped, and he had to give us his parsonage, his true colors would show. My wife dislikes Victoria, but she has a crush so that tracks. Hehe!!
I think of guys like him as Deepak Chopra. Incidentally, my wife has a lot of Deepak's books as well. That dude sure loves the word quantum.
