Social media apps like twitter have value in data collection and brain manipulation. If you can't imagine how being able to choose who sees what "ads" and when, from a roster of people who you have a robust psychological profile already on, I can't help you.

It was sellable because I think its more of a rebranding than anything. Twitter will be business as usual but with a more popular man in charge of it.
