I'm not hating on someone doing what is best for saving the website. If people want to brag about things they didn't do when they were 15, to have a fair chance at, sounds real.
I've only ever had maybe 3 pieces of Skyshrine faction gear, given to me. So I get it. But it doesn't effect me, while I'm leveling in Oasis. That damn PK had more magic resist than my 70. I just upgraded from 50 too!
Added later: Incase I still sound like I'm hating. Please do whatever it takes to keep P99 going. Full approval.
